Abdikarim M.Abdi is the chief clinical pharmacist at Near East University Hospital, he is the director of clinical pharmacy practice experiences at Near East University faculty of pharmacy and an internal medicine clinical Pharmacist at the Near East University Hospital.

In addition to his leadership responsibilities, Abdi recently received his PhD in clinical pharmacy on a scholarship program for designing and implementing a model for clinical pharmacy practice experiences within pharmacy education curriculum in NEU University. He earned his PharmD from Jordan University of Science and Technology as a scholarship student too. Then he pursued his Master of Science in clinical pharmacy from Near East University as First Honor student.

Abdi currently serves as a full-time lecturer at Near East University, and took a leading role in founding NEUH drug information centre and clinical pharmacy centre as the first centre in Turkey and North Cyprus and was a co-founder of many youth and professional pharmacist initiatives in Jordan and Northern Cyprus and co-planed several annual and national pharmacists meetings and conferences. Abdi was also awarded by several pharmacist bodies including an honorary membership from Jordan Pharmacists Association. His area of research involve Geriatric patients care drug use patterns, blood and anticoagulants use, drug related problems in cardiology and internal medicine patients, experiential education setting, clinical competence assessment using OSCEs, collaborative practices and patient education research.
