Dr.ImadTreish is the Chief Operating Officer at the King Hussein Cancer Center in Amman, Jordan. He has been overseeing operations in this 174 beds comprehensive cancer center since 2009. In his current role Dr.Treish oversees a variety functions including direct oversight of administrative departments as well as operational oversight of medical and nursing departments. Dr.Treish chairs the center’s Environment of Care committee which aims to achieve a secure, safe, and pleasant environment for patients, visitors, and employees. Furthermore, Dr.Treish is overseeing the transformation of KHCC to electronic medical records (Vista). Together with the CEO, Dr.Treish is directing the design and construction of the new towers for the cancer center.
He is a member of the Executive Council, Strategic Planning Committee, Budget Committee, Medical Board, and Masterplanning Committee, and Construction Committee Prior to this position, Dr.Treish served as the Chairman of the Department of Pharmacy between 2002 and 2009. Dr.Treish has extensive experience in oncology pharmacy practice particularly in the fields of cytotoxic drug safety and environmental controls to reduce cross contamination of cytotoxic drugs. In addition, Dr.Treish has special interest in biomarkers and more specifically genomic markers of drug efficacy, toxicity, and economics.
Dr.Treish is a graduate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Pharmacy in 1999. He completed training in Hematology / Oncology at the UNC Healthcare in North Carolina in 2000.
