Dr Ghada Shouna Graduated from University Of Khartoum, Sudan With BSc Degree in Pharmacy. She Obtained Fellowship Qualification in pharmaceutical services and Management from the Sudan Medical Specialization Board and a MSc degree in Clinical Pharmacy from Robert Gordon University in Scotland, UK. She is currently the head of the Accreditation of Medical Schools Department In the Sudan Medical Council, Which is the prime professional regulatory body in the country. She Is a PhD Candidate at University Of Gezeira, Sudan on the subject of pharmaceutical governance in Sudan. Dr Shouna has 20 Years of experience. She has made major contributions in the development of the pharmaceutical sector, health systems and training of health professionals. Her Experience extends to regulation of pharmaceuticals and pharmacy workforce through various leadership positions in the hospitals, State And Federal Ministry Of Health, The National Medicine And Poisons Board and the Sudan Medical Council. In Addition to that, Dr Shouna Is active in academia and professional training through teaching, research and capacity building roles in pharmacy schools and other training institutions. She published in peer--‐reviewed journals on issues related to pharmaceutical policy and practice. Her Research work and interests include rational use of medicine, antimicrobial resistance, pharmaceutical policies and regulations.
