Huda Al Harthi, is a senior specialized pharmacist at Khoula Hospital, Oman. Join ministry of health in 1996. She practices clinical pharmacy in orthopaedic surgery for the last 12 years. Currently she is head of clinical pharmacy department in Khoula Hospital. She earned her Diploma in Pharmacy in OAPI in Oman, and her M.Pharm from Liverpool John Moores University in Liverpool, UK. Later she did her MSc in Clinical Pharmacy in Strathclyde University in Glasgow, UK. Her pharmacy experience includes practice in OPD pharmacy, teaching staff and students, and clinical pharmacy services in general surgery and orthopedic departments. She participated actively in symposium, conferences and workshop as speaker.
Huda served as a member in the National Antimicrobial Sub-Committee in MOH. Plus she is coordinator of drug and therapeutic committee in Khoula Hospital. Huda has being involved in developing many guidelines and policies and procedures in her place of work; for example National Surgical Antimicrobial Prophylaxis Guideline. She is being awarded as best head in 2014 for her outstanding practice and leadership in clinical pharmacy department.
